"I started my first window cleaning business in 1991. At the time, I was working in a bakery, and while I enjoyed it, I had a desire to build something of my own. My client base steadily grew, and eventually, we rebranded as Sunshine Cleaning, serving customers throughout the Peak District.

In 2014, our family moved to Sheffield, and I sold the business to explore other ventures. By 2023, I had the opportunity to purchase parts of three different window cleaning businesses. The largest was Central Window Cleaners, a former franchise in Buxton, owned by an old employee of mine who had developed impressive business acumen.

In 2024, my wife and I returned to Derbyshire and settled in Hulland Ward. My family has lived and farmed in this area since the 1600s, so being back here truly feels like coming home. Now that we’ve settled here with our two dogs, I wanted to establish strong ties with the town of Ashbourne and its neighboring villages, leading me to found Ashbourne Window Cleaning as a way to root myself in the community.

In my spare time, I enjoy film photography and running. You’ll often find me with a camera in hand or trying to keep up with the Ashbourne Running Club on our weekly runs. Fly, our 11-year-old collie, is practically our full-time 'van dog' and loves any attention he receives, so feel free to say hello to him!"
